Russian for taking a taxi from the airport

After a flight, the difficult part is often finding the right car rather than naming your destination. An airport has several exits, the driver calls while you are still collecting luggage, and the hotel entrance may be on another street. These phrases help you describe where you are, check the destination and confirm the price before setting off. Keep the written address available so you can show it as well as say it.
Agree on a precise meeting point
Start with the terminal and exit, not a vague description such as outside. Я у вы́хода means you are by the exit; add its number when you know it. If the driver is already waiting, ask Како́й у вас но́мер маши́ны? and compare the registration with your booking. Practise listening to both numbers and letters before your trip, because recognising the answer matters as much as asking the question.
Separate the destination from the entrance
A hotel name alone may not identify the right building. Give the street and house number, then explain where you need to stop. Вхо́д со двора́ describes an entrance from the courtyard; гла́вный вход is the main entrance. You do not need a perfect case ending to be understood, but learning до оте́ля as a complete chunk helps you ask about the journey naturally. Show the booking address when pronunciation is uncertain.
Confirm the total before the journey
Ско́лько сто́ит пое́здка? asks how much the ride costs. If a price has already been given, Уточни́те, э́то полная це́на? asks whether it is the full price. Ask separately about payment rather than assuming a card will be accepted. These are language examples, not a promise about local fares or booking rules. Use the price and vehicle details supplied by the service you actually booked.
Practise a changed plan
A useful rehearsal includes one complication: your luggage is delayed, your group needs more space, or you have walked to the wrong exit. Say Подожди́те, пожа́луйста, я ещё получа́ю бага́ж to explain the delay. Then offer a concrete update rather than repeating that you are coming. In your flashcards, pair the problem with the next action: wait five minutes, meet at exit three, or stop by the main entrance.
