These observations are more useful than declaring the whole phone broken. Say when the problem started and whether another app or website works. In a practice conversation, give your partner just the symptoms and let them ask a follow-up. That trains a real support exchange rather than a fixed sequence of technical guesses.
Ask about the setting you can actually see
Настро́йки is settings and уведомле́ния is notifications. If someone tells you to open a menu, ask Где э́тот пункт? when you cannot find it. Назад takes you back; включи́ть and вы́ключить mean turn on and off. Practise with a non-sensitive feature such as a sound setting. Describe the current state before changing it, then confirm the result. The language is useful across devices, but actual menu names and locations can differ between versions and manufacturers.
Clarify data and cost separately
Моби́льный интерне́т refers to mobile data, while тра́фик can refer to data usage. Ask Ско́лько гигаба́йт вхо́дит? about the included allowance, then ask about the period and any limits. Ро́уминг concerns roaming, not all mobile use. Do not assume an offer has the same conditions in every country or on every account. For practice, compare two fictional plans and state which details you still need before choosing. You are learning to ask, not relying on an example tariff.
Protect the useful boundary of a support conversation
You can show an error message without reading a password aloud. Сейча́с покажу́ оши́бку introduces the problem on the screen; Где найти́ информа́цию? asks where to locate a relevant detail. Keep verification codes, passwords and real account numbers out of vocabulary notes. A good practice task is to explain a failed connection using a made-up screenshot with no personal content. End by stating whether the problem changed, so the helper knows whether the suggested action worked.
