A concert gives you several chances to use Russian before the music even starts. You can arrange where to meet, find your entrance and ask whether your ticket has a seat. Afterwards, the conversation moves to favourite songs and what you thought of the performance. This lesson follows that whole evening, with short practical phrases for a noisy venue and simple ways to give an opinion that goes beyond saying everything was good.
Make the meeting plan unambiguous
Дава́й встре́тимся у вхо́да is an invitation to meet by the entrance. Add the entrance number or another visible landmark when there are several. Во ско́лько открыва́ют две́ри? asks about doors opening, which is different from the advertised performance time. Confirm both if your plans depend on them. Practise a message that includes place, time and one contingency, such as writing again if someone is delayed. That is more useful than just learning the noun concert.
Read the useful parts of your ticket
Ряд is the row and ме́сто is the seat. A ticket for a standing area may have neither, so ask Здесь свобо́дная рассадка? only when the seating arrangement is unclear. Сце́на is the stage; парте́р and балко́н name different areas in some venues. Do not assume the same layout everywhere. Use your actual ticket as reading practice and identify the date, entrance, row and seat before trying to read every condition printed underneath.
Talk about what you actually heard
You can say Мне понра́вилась по́следняя пе́сня to single out the final song. Add why: the rhythm, the voice or the way the band played it. Distinguish a singer, певе́ц or певи́ца, from a band, гру́ппа. If you do not know a song title, describe when it was played. Asking Как называ́ется э́та пе́сня? creates a natural exchange and gives you a specific title to look up later.
Rehearse before and after the music
Give yourself two short role plays. In the first, one friend cannot find the entrance and the other explains where to meet. In the second, you compare your favourite moments and recommend another song. Keep sentences short enough to use in a busy public space. When you build flashcards, include the whole opinion with its reason, rather than only adjectives like amazing. A reason makes the phrase personal and gives the other person something to respond to.
