1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Daily Cyrillic, you confirm that you are at least 16 years of age and agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.

2. Description of Service

Daily Cyrillic is an AI-powered language learning platform that provides:

• Interactive flashcards with spaced repetition for vocabulary learning
• Alphabet learning with audio pronunciations
• Verb conjugation tables and drills
• An AI conversational tutor powered by Google Gemini for practice
• Image scanning to identify and translate text in photos
• Progress tracking and personalized learning paths
• Data export in CSV and Anki formats

3. User Accounts

To access Daily Cyrillic, you must create an account through our authentication provider (Clerk). You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access
• Ensuring that your account information is accurate and up-to-date

You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Daily Cyrillic in a lawful and respectful manner. You must not:

• Use the AI tutor to generate harmful, abusive, discriminatory, or illegal content
• Attempt to manipulate, jailbreak, or misuse the AI features
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the platform
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code
• Upload malicious files, viruses, or any harmful material
• Interfere with the platform's infrastructure or other users' experience
• Use the service for any commercial purpose without our written consent
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Daily Cyrillic — including the design, code, text, graphics, logos, and AI models — are owned by Daily Cyrillic and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without our prior written consent.

The language content (alphabet, grammar rules, common vocabulary) is in the public domain and not claimed as proprietary.

Content you create on Daily Cyrillic — including custom vocabulary sets, flashcards, and chat messages — belongs to you. By creating content on the platform, you grant us a limited license to store and display it within the service for the purpose of providing the platform to you.

You can export your data at any time using the CSV or Anki export features. When you delete your account, all your content is permanently removed.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Daily Cyrillic and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from:

• Your use of or inability to use the service
• Any errors or inaccuracies in AI-generated content
• Unauthorized access to your account or data
• Service interruptions or downtime
• Any third-party conduct or content on the platform

Our total liability for any claim arising from the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or EUR 100, whichever is greater.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Daily Cyrillic is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any defects will be corrected. We disclaim all warranties including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Termination

By you: You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon deletion, all your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

By us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or if required by law. We will provide notice where reasonably possible.

Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including limitation of liability, intellectual property, and governing law) will survive.

11. Governing Law
